I saw North Carolina’s rail trails the first time I visited Durham. NCRT mission is corridor preservation, retrieval and conversion of obsolete rail ways to public trails. The members of the Board represent bicycling, hiking, equestrian, historic, conservation, preservation and economic development interests. The railways are an incredible asset - not just in the RTP, but throughout the state.
